About PdJ

In 1998, I rented my first apartment in Paris on rue St. Dominique. I settled into my quartier – the totally charming neighborhood that would define my Paris experience.

Each morning I studied at the language school. Afternoons were spent doing class assignments… Paris style. That meant conjugating French verbs while seated at a café table in a lovely garden and sipping white wine. The sheer joy of that summer in Paris was to define me in ways I could have never imagined. I returned to France many times and explored not only Paris but other unique regions of France as well. I met many wonderful people, and dear friendships began.

In 2004 I had an idea. As women, we like nothing better than to meet other women in their country and learn about their world. I created Paris du Jour so that women could discover the beauty of Paris in a unique way. Not only would I offer the sights and sounds of Paris, but I would provide the opportunity to learn about French culture though the hospitality of French hosts and hostesses in private home settings.  Since that first Paris apartment, I have led my friends, family members and Paris du Jour travelers  along tiny rues and magnificent boulevards of this magical city. Nothing makes me happier than introducing others to the many faces of Paris for the first time or the tenth time. Along with my guests, I continue to discover and indulge in Paris’ sheer beauty and charm at every turn.

I invite you to join me as Paris du Jour introduces you to the eternal magic of the City of Light!

Bon voyage,
